29th October - first time MAX has fallen below 9.9c since last spring 

24th October - first air frost of the season -0.5c 

August - slightly lower than average rainfall 65.2mm or 72% - Summer rainfall has been 324.5mm !! 

8th July - first dry day for 27 days 7th July - Rainfall now 64.3mm which is what you expect for the whole month

12th June - Wettest Day of the year, staggering 42.1mm fell, 4th wettest day ever and wettest ever June Day since records began. 

11th June - Warmest day record fall again, 24.8c this afternoon. 

9th June - Warmest day of the year at 23.6c 

31st May - Very heavy shower, rainfall rate at 70mm pr/hr 

8th May 1000hrs rainfall rate up to 47mm pr hr in heavy shower. 

5th May - Another dry spell ends 10 days without any measurable rainfall. 

19th April - dry spell ends with 9.9mm of rain 

14th April- Another warmest day 22.3c and 12.2hrs of sunshine 

13th April - Another warmest day 18.1c 

12th April - Warmest and sunniest day or the year 16.2c and 12.1hrs on sunshine 

7th April - Sunniest day of the year with 10.8hrs of sunshine 

18th March - Heavy snow shower gave 2cm in 15mins, mix of snow and soft hail. 

5th March - Wettest day of the year at 21.4mm, wettest day since 14th September 2006 

28th February - Gust of 40.9knots recorded this morning 

8th February - Snow started to fall 0850hrs 2.5cm by noon - slight thaw in the afternoon then froze after dusk 

23rd Jan - Snow fell from 1650hrs, nearly 2cm by 7pm, no snow just down the road at Hayton, appears isolated event 

22nd Jan - First snow fell overnight, mix of snow and snow pellets, cover just about 1cm 

18th Jan - First thunderstorm of the year, large hailstones reported 

17th Jan- Hail and snow showers this afternoon, no coverage 

14th Jan - Gust of 50.4knots (58mph) windy spell continues 

11th Jan - Gust of 48.7knots (56mph) 

9th Jan - Gust of 46.1knots recorded (53mph)
